The TRE® private package invites you to join me either from the comfort of your own home virtually, or in person to learn how to use the powerful healing practices of TRE® to elicit your body’s own natural neurogenic tremor response.
You might recall a time when you had to speak in front of a crowd and your hands were shaking; maybe you found yourself shaking after an accident; or you’ve noticed your dog shaking during a thunderstorm. We shake with excitement, we shake with anger, we shake with grief. We shake after a challenging workout. This shaking or trembling is part of a body’s healing response to stress and/or trauma. We learn in our culture that shaking or trembling is a “problem to be diagnosed, fixed, and treated.” Sometimes it is, but oftentimes our conditioning teaches us it’s a problem. In TRE® we view this tremor response as an automatic function of your nervous system in response to stress that is healing! Your body has the built in recovery response to your tension and stress, and it can show up as shaking, trembling, temperature changes, stretches and other movements. We’ll work together using the latest neuroscience in TRE® & the powerful healing practices of yoga to create a safe enough container for you to experience this tremor response in a non-distressed state, releasing habitual contraction patterns in your body.
Your body is made, not only to experience stress and trauma, but to heal and resolve the effects of excessive tension in your bodymind. When your body is more settled, your mind settles, and the “second arrow” as they say in Buddhism, your thoughts about what you are feeling, does not pierce your peace and ease.
In these sessions, you will explore a variety of ways to stop, start, and relate to your TRE® response including: mindfulness and breathing practices; yoga postures, practices and wellness applications, as desired. We’ll use a variety of props and household items to support, move, or slow your TRE® experience. You can learn TRE® with or without yoga, it’s up to you!
The private sessions provide a small healing container to invite more safety in order to enhance your healing potential.
Private TRE® Session are for you if you:
Have never learned TRE® (tension and trauma releasing exercises) and are interested in learning more. It is also for you if you would like a refresher or would like the guidance and expertise of a certified TRE® provider.
This is For You If You:
- suffer from stress, anxiety or symptoms of PTSD or vicarious trauma.
- have a hard time settling your body and/or your mind.
- could use support with improving your sleep quality.
- would like to reduce tension-related pain in your body.
- desire to expand your emotional intelligence.
- would like to find ways to integrate TRE® into your regular routines.
- suffer from stress, anxiety, or symptoms of PTSD or vicarious trauma.
- need increased flexibility (body, heart, and mind).
- prefer to work 1-1 vs a group environment.
Private TRE® Session are not for you if you:
- have an untreated major medical issue; broken bones or sprains; or recent surgery still under physician’s care.
- are having difficulty with extreme emotional overwhelm or struggle with bipolar disorder; schizophrenia; manic/depressive; psychosis; severe depression; borderline personality disorder; or untreated PTSD. Private sessions are recommended for integrating TRE® with these conditions, oftentimes with a provider specialized in your area of concern.
- are pregnant (due to lack of research at this time).
- if you prefer virtual sessions and do not have a safe enough feeling space to practice (i.e., your home does not feel like a safe place for you and you don’t have access to a safe enough feeling space to participate).
- if you prefer virtual sessions and are very uncomfortable with technology or do not have access to a device with camera and sound (laptops recommended, phones and tablets work as well).

As Your Healing guide
My intention is to offer learning and healing experiences that demonstrate equity and inclusion for all human bodies, hearts, and minds. To guide experiences of learning that are co-created and heart centered. To empower individuals to use their own discernment and knowing to make choices that best meet their needs.
Experienced Yoga Instructor & Personal Trainer
I have been teaching Hatha Yoga and Yin yoga since 2017. I’m a 500 E-RYT Certified Hatha Yoga teacher, and I also bring 18 years of Personal Training experience, specializing in pre & post rehabilitative work, to my yoga instruction. I hold a Personal Training certification through the American Council on Exercise and am a Balanced Body pilates instructor. I Graduated University of Vermont, Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Psychology and Sociology.
Working with people suffering from pain and injury calls me to continually increase my knowledge of the body and its makeup. I’ve completed additional studies in anatomy with the Mount Sinai Hospitals FAMI program. In addition, I’ve taken Ashaya Yoga® advanced anatomy studies with Ellen Saltonstall, and have concluded many Cross Country Education modules including rotator cuff therapeutics, spine & back care, osteoporosis, and osteopenia. I am continuing my studies in advanced Ashaya Yoga® therapeutics & Anatomy Trains fascia studies. My yoga teachers and influencers include Todd Norian, Ashaya Yoga® founder; Kristine Weber; Christopher Wallis; William K. Mahoney; Emily Garrett; Heidi Kvasnak; Deb Sherrer; Pam Clark; and many more.
Certified TREⓇ Provider
I’m a certified TREⓇ provider (Tension & Trauma Release Exercise). I studied TREⓇ with Jay Gleason MS, LCMHC, LADC of Burlington, VT, and I continue to assist at his TRE® provider Level 1 & 2 certification training program. I continue my trauma studies with the works of Stephen Porges, Peter Levine, Deb Dana, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Resmaa Menakem, David Berceli et. al.
Five years ago I joined my first TRE® group class as a participant to bring more ease into my life experiences living with complex PTSD. TRE® has helped bring more balance and healing to my body. And, since tremoring regularly, my incidences of chronic pain (back & neck), irritable bowel, sleep disturbances, and anxiety, all of which interfered with my ability to work and thrive, have been significantly reduced. Because it has been such a positive experience for me personally, I remain committed to offering TRE® to people as an affordable and accessible strategy for recovery, reducing pain, stress, and the symptoms of stress and trauma.
What’s Included
- Three (3) private sessions ~60-90 minutes each. Alternatively, we might choose to break our time up to suit your needs.

- I’m happy to stay in touch with you between sessions as questions and insights arise!
- I often have follow-up resources to share with you after our sessions.
- Recordings of sessions available upon request. I do not record all sessions. You will need to request, at your session time, for me to record the hour for you.

Pay from your Heart
I know that this work can be life-transforming and I feel strongly that it should be accessible to anyone who wants it. I’ve been in the place where I needed this support and didn’t have it; and I’ve been on the other side, with access to the services I needed to heal, and it was life-changing! It’s important to me to bring more opportunities to as many as I can, so I have decided to adopt a Pay from your Heart approach to the cost of my services.
Pay from your Heart is an approach I take to pricing my services that invites you to check in with your heart and make payment based on what feels right for you and your personal financial situation. I want you to feel good in our relationship: valuing both what you receive from working with me and what you give to sustain my work.
My program rates reflect my experience and the value of what I offer in a way that feels sustainable to my work and my business. For this program, the suggested cost is $325. In addition, so that my business can continue to operate, and I can continue to serve others in this capacity, I have set the minimum payment amount at $250.
Housing and Food: If you are currently in a financial situation where paying the minimum amount of $250 for the program would mean that you would not be able to afford food for you or your family, or you would not be able to pay for housing, I invite you to reach out to me for suitable arrangements. If this is where you find yourself, I welcome you to join me in a conversation to co-create a sustainable fee based on our shared needs.
Otherwise, I ask that you pay the program cost of $325. And, I welcome you to pay more if your situation allows, because this helps me and my business continue serving those who are unable to pay the full amount.
I’ve researched what other people charge for similar programs, and those rates fall between $297-$570. The opportunity here is that you have the chance to check in with your heart, and with where your finances are, and make a decision about what feels right to you to pay for this program.

- Here I offer you a dedicated yoga space with a wide variety of props, toys, and tools.
- COVID info: I have invested in a high quality air filter for the studio space. Masks, face shields, and hand sanitizer are provided. All unvaccinated folks are asked to mask. Thank you for your consideration!
- Sessions are 60-90 minutes Wednesday-Saturday.

FAQs:
I ask for only 12 hours notice for cancelled sessions…life is bumpy, right? AND, if you have to cancel later than the 12 hours, your paid session is still yours! I spend that hour on you. If you can be in touch with me before your session starts, you can give me an assignment. If you forget about it all together, I will spend that hour working on programming for you, based on your goals.
You schedule your sessions for when they are good for you! Many folks meet once or twice and then take some time to practice on their own, using their third session as a follow up or tune up. These sessions are flexible to meet your needs.
No problem! Private sessions are accessible to anyone interested in TRE®. You can be new to yoga, or not interested in yoga being part of your TRE® experience! Exercises introduced are not complex and I skillfully guide each individual to ensure anyone can access the movements (from a chair or in your bed even)!. I’ll offer many variations to make the exercises accessible for all body types and fitness levels. We will use a variety of props or household substitutes, chairs, walls, and more!
No problem! We’ll move at your pace and interest level. I have lots of experience adapting shapes and movement practices to all kinds of bodies with all kinds of varying boundaries (my own as well)! We will use a variety of yoga props or household substitutes, chairs, walls, balls and more to help you get the most out of our sessions together.
